Tech Zenigmatica is a solo practice run from Chennai, India. I build websites and the cloud infrastructure behind them for startups and small businesses — the kind of work a company would otherwise need to hire a front-end developer and a platform engineer to cover.
Working solo is the point, not a limitation. You talk to the person writing the code and running the Terraform. There is no account manager translating, no handoff between a “design team” and a “devops team”, and no one learning your project from a ticket. Scope stays small and honest because I am the one who has to deliver it.
What I care about
Static-first. Most sites should be pre-rendered HTML on a CDN. It is faster, cheaper, and there is nothing to patch at 2am.
Everything in code. Infrastructure in Terraform, pipelines in YAML, content in version control. If it was configured by clicking, it cannot be reviewed or rebuilt.
You own it. Repos, hosting, cloud accounts, and domains are set up in your name. Handover includes documentation and a walkthrough, not just a zip file.
Boring on purpose. Proven tools, small dependency lists, and patterns a future developer will recognise. Novelty is a cost, not a feature.
How to work with me
Send a short message describing what you need. We have a scoping call, you get a written proposal with fixed price and timeline, and work starts on a deposit. Most projects run two to five weeks and are billed against milestones.
Clients are worldwide and most work is async. Calls are scheduled around your timezone — IST overlaps a working morning in the Americas and a working afternoon in Europe.
